The Central Coast Academy of Sport is delighted to announce the continued corporate support by the Mingara Recreation Club, support that now spans fourteen years.

The CCAS has worked with Mingara since the organisation first became operational back in 2004. In that time Mingara and more recently Mingara One have provided support in many ways, the CCAS administration office is housed at the Regional Athletics Track, the annual awards showcase evening is held at the Mingara Showroom, off field education supported by Your Local Club is held often in the Tasman Rooms within Mingara, Mingara One has supplied gymnasium passes to athletes within CCAS programs and the list of support goes on and on.

Ian Robilliard the CCAS Managing Director said of the ongoing support by Mingara and Mingara One: “I often say that without Mingara we wouldn’t exist in our current form, what they do for our community is nothing short of spectacular, often done quietly but significant reach into many community endeavours. I can’t thank the Board and Staff at Mingara enough for what they provide the Academy of Sport. What’s so noticeable with the many people we work with at Mingara and Mingara One is the genuine interest and care they show for the work we are suppling to the young pre-elite athletes of our region, it’s quite remarkable how engaged they are with our work, I simply can’t say thank you enough”.

Daniel Pinkston the General Manager at Mingara said of the partnership renewal: “We are thrilled to once again partner with the Central Coast Academy of Sport. We have enjoyed a great partnership for 14 years and support their delivery of community support and facilities for sport on the Central Coast. We believe in supporting the Academy we are delivering on our vision of making a significant contribution to the quality of community life”.
